Situated in the center of the Santa Lucia Highlands is Rosella's Vineyard. The 50 acres were planted from 1996-2003 with perfect southeast exposure. Gary Franscioni, master winemaker, incorporated seven clones of Pinot Noir, three clones of Chardonnay, and two clones of Syrah, creating one of the most complex vineyards in California.
Flavors emanating from Rosella's vineyard can be traced to two factors: soil and climate.
August West Wines has mastered the craft of balanced wines, Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. August West Wines are produced in limited quantities.
