Hangar One was born from the minds of Jorg Rupf and Ansley Coale when they decided to bring the craft of distillation to California. With access to wonderful fruit, grapes, climate and sophisticated equipment, it was easy to hand-make exquisite brandies, vodka and liqueurs. Hangar One is a serious vodka crafted with the finest of ingredients, made in very small batches with hands-on pot-distilling.
Distiller Jorg Rupf comes from a rich tradition of distillation and his family has long produced fruit brandies and liqueurs in Germany. In 1982, Jorg brought his Holstein pot-still to the Bay Area began to craft distillation of the region's world-class fruit and created Aqua
Perfecta Eaux-de-vie and Liqueurs.
St. George Spirits is a joint venture between Jorg Rupf and Lance Winters, hand-crafting spirits that are richly layered, complex, and deliciously true to ingredients.
