  Lynmar Wines - October 20, 2009
In 1990, Lynn Fritz founded Lynmar Winery to produce world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay reflective of the Russian River Valley appellation. The Quail Hill Vineyard 47-acre estate, has superb qualities for growing the finest pinot and chardonnay. The combination of location, soil composition, long and cool growing seasons, dramatic elevation changes, and clone and rootstock selections make it a prized vineyard. The end result: optimizing each vine's ability to consistently produce fruit with a balance of sugars, acidity and physiological ripeness.

The vineyard borders the Laguna de Santa Rosa, a 250 square-mile watershed that is home to mammals, reptiles, native plants and migrating birds. The winery team uses the most habitat-friendly farming techniques to protect this vital ecosystem.

Wines to be poured and canapé pairings:
  • 2006 Russian River Valley, Chardonnay
  • 2007 Old Wente, Chardonnay
  • 2006 Russian River Valley, Pinot Noir
  • 2006 Quail Hill, Pinot Noir

Priced at $35.00 per flight and $15.00 per canapé plate.
